On October 4-5, 2006, EUnetHTA organised a European HTA Parallel Forum as a part of the European Health Forum Gastein in Austria.
On July 3, 2006 EUnetHTA held a lunch forum "EUnetHTA - European network for Health Technology Assessment: Work in progress" at the HTAi Annual Meeting in Adelaide, Australia.
EUnetHTA - the first European network to assess health technology – starts work in Copenhagen.
The EUnetHTA Steering Committee comprised of the Associated Partners in the project met in Copenhagen on May 11, 2006. Representatives from 32 out of 35 organisations - Associated Partners that include national and regional HTA agencies, Ministries of Health, research institutions and international organisations (Cochrane Collaboration) discussed and endorsed 3-year work plan, standard operations procedures, structure and communication and publication rules for the project.
After the first coordinating meeting in Copenhagen on January 27, Lead Partners finalized the work plans for 2006 in their respective work packages and first working group meetings have been scheduled for spring 2006.
