Commissioner Vytenis Andriukaitis confirmed by European Parliament
Yesterday, on 22 October, the European Parliament confirmed the 28 commissioners put forward by the president-elect of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker. Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices policies will remain in the health portfolio under incoming Commissioner Vytenis Andriukaitis. The new Commission will take office 1 November 2014.
