EUnetHTA conference 2011 Gdansk, December 8-9

EUnetHTA conference 2011 Gdansk, December 8-9

Health Technology Assessment in national and cross-border healthcare in Europe.

Collaboration in HTA in Europa is growing. Due to European legislation on cross-border healthcare and constraints on the national capacity to produce HTAs attempts are being made to work more closely in the production of HTA. Co-funded by the European Commission the EUnetHTA Joint Action (JA) is moving forward to facilitate this European collaboration. During the EUnetHTA conference in Gdansk results from the current EUnetHTA JA will be presented. Moreover, representatives from EUnetHTA, European Commission, national Ministries of Health and stakeholders like industry, patients and health insurers will debate the current and future role of this European HTA collaboration in relation to policy-making on national and cross-border healthcare.

The conference is jointly organised by the Health Care Insurance Board, CVZ, Netherlands and Agency for Health Technology Assessment, AHTAPol, Poland with the support of the EUnetHTA Secretariat.

The details on the programme will be available and registration will open in May 2011 on the EUnetHTA website. Mark the dates in your calendars!
