Recommendations for Horizon Scanning, Topic Identification, Selection and Prioritisation for European Cooperation on Health Technology Assessment
The final report ‘Recommendations for Horizon Scanning, Topic Identification, Selection and Prioritisation for European Cooperation on Health Technology Assessment’ is available here.
The draft recommendations were under consultation during the period July–September 2018. An overview and response to the feedback during the consultation is available here.
Topic Identification, Selection and Prioritisation (TISP) Pilots
As part of developing these recommendations, pilots were conducted for a process for voluntary collaboration on Topic Identification, Selection and Prioritisation (TISP) for EUnetHTA Work Package 4 Joint Production in Joint Action 3. There were two pilots, one for pharmaceuticals, and one for medical devices and in-vitro diagnostics. The outcome of the pilots were the EUnetHTA Prioritisation Lists (EPLs), available here for Pharmaceuticals and here for Other Technologies.
Endpoint evaluation reports, one for pharmaceuticals and one for medical devices and in-vitro diagnostics, informed the final recommendations.
