These criteria are intended to be applied for new technologies in the context of Access with evidence generation mechanisms. However, they may have a broader scope and be used to select technologies that are already covered and diffused but for which additional data on their effective impact in current practice is needed.

The development of selection/prioritisation criteria was based on a literature review, surveys of WP7A partners, Stakeholder Advisory Group consultation and public consultation.
